The work is based on Temporary work, however, you will be looking at regular shifts, Monday to Friday on an on going basis.
We have been supplying this client for in excess of 15 years and know them very well, so have confidence in being able to say that this is 'regular' agency work for the right drivers.
As a 7.5t Driver, you will be delivering to various food outlets, with products such as paper cups, napkins, straws and other non-food items.
All goods are on pallets, which you will be then selecting the correct goods at your delivery points.
The number of drops will vary dependent on your delivery area, however, you can expect between 10 to 20 per day.
You will need to be flexible as some days, you might be out in the 3.5t Van.
Start times are 0600hrs until you finish, but this is generally mid afternoon.
All drivers are paid a minimum 8 hours per shift, with overtime after 8 hours at x 1.5.
The pay rates are:
7.5t
Standard up to 8 Hours - £13.00 per hour
Overtime over 8 hours - £19.50 per hour
3.5t
Standard up to 8 hours - £12.00 per hour
Overtime over 8 hours - £18.00 per hour
All rates are based on being paid PAYE.
You must have previous experience as a 7.5t Multi-drop driver and have no more than 6 minor points on your licence.
You must consider yourself a professional driver, take pride in your work and have a customer facing attitude and demeanor.
