We are recruiting for a People Advisor, for a period of 6 months initially for our client in the non-profit sector. This role is ideally full time on a hybrid basis, based in Manchester offices two days a week.

Reporting into our Head of HR you responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and own ER cases within your departments, providing structure and guidance and balancing the needs of the individual and the business.
  • Working closely with People Team to promote best practice and consistency in ER casework
  • Support absence management within your client group to reduce both short term absenteeism and long-term sickness
  • Develop and maintain close and trusted working relationships with key stakeholders in designated business areas to deliver strategic and operational objectives
  • Work to empower our managers to lead autonomously, and continuously improve our offering across the entire People function
  • Proactively implement policies and procedures
  • Involved with planning and implementing People projects to support organisational and cultural change
  • Play an active role in recruitment and selection with client groups to raise standards in the quality and retention of hires
