Job Description:
We are looking for an experiencedClass 1 Driverto join a leadingconstruction companyin Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled driver who thrives in a Monday-to-Friday schedule and is comfortable with challenging driving conditions, includingreversing in tight spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites
- Confidently carry outreversing maneuvers, especially in confined areas
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Ensure all loads are secure and transported in compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain communication with site personnel and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPCandDigi Tacho Card
- Minimum 1 year of experienceas a Class 1 Driver
- Comfortable and experienced with reversing in construction environments
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and a solid understanding of Manchester roads
