CLASS 2 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY:

£14.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Drivers to join our client based in Middleton, Manchester.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not limited to:

• Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Must be physically fit due to the nature of the job
• Delivering sheets of plastics to various customers and moving them using PPT
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
• Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
• Have a minimum of 12 months experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• Candidates must have previous experience working on curtain side trailers and have strapping load experience as its crucial for this role
• No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a certain level of English
• Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Training

• Full training will be provided for this role
