Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare delectable meals for students, staff, and faculty
  • Ensure all meals meet nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions
  • Collaborate with the team to create new and exciting menu options
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
  • Manage inventory and food ordering
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead as the academy's head chef, overseeing all food services.
  • Help train, develop, and motivate kitchen and catering staff.
  • Promote efficiency, budget awareness, and the academy's values.
  • Maintain a positive, flexible attitude towards teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
  • Passion for cooking nutritious meals in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to create menus that appeal to both children and adults
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3pm.

Location: Wythenshawe Manchester
