The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business development manager will be responsible for key account management and business development with major customers across Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Northumberland, Durham and the surroundings areas.

The ideal Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business development manager will ideally have knowledge of a range of products such as valves, actuators, pressure switches, pressure & level sensing equipment, motors, full product training is provided.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business development Role
Selling a range of products such as valves, actuators, pressure switches, pressure & level sensing equipment, full product training is provided
Plan and manage a set of accounts within a key area of business.
Build on new accounts and develop a strong set of existing accounts.
Able to follow and execute key plans both from the branch and independently
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Liaise with customers to identify specifications/requirements and offer technical automation solutions.
Keep up to date with new products coming to the market with a large existing portfolio.
Covering the North including areas such as Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Northumberland, Durham and the surroundings areas.

Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business development Requirements
Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within technical engineering products.
Knowledge or an interest of a range of products such as valves, actuators, pressure switches, pressure & level sensing equipment, motors
An engineering qualification would be beneficial.
Living in the North, areas such as Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Northumberland, Durham and the surroundings areas will be considered.
Knowledge of automation or a passion for learning. Full training provided
A proven track record in sales would be beneficial.
A full UK driver's licence is needed.
