Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people? We are currently seeking dedicated Children's Residential Care Workers to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to children living in our residential homes in Cheadle and Salford.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in care.

  • Promote independent living skills, including personal care, education, and social development.

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans.

  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment by following safeguarding policies and procedures.

  • Encourage positive behaviour management strategies and de-escalate challenging situations where necessary.

  • Work closely with a team of professionals, including social workers, teachers, and health practitioners.

  • Support children in daily routines, such as attending school, participating in recreational activities, and engaging in therapy sessions.

  • Administer medication and adhere to all health and safety protocols.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a children's residential care setting is essential.

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection regulations.

  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
