Job Title: Children's Residential Care WorkerLocation: Cheadle & SalfordSalary: £12.50 per hour
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people? We are currently seeking dedicated Children's Residential Care Workers to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to children living in our residential homes in Cheadle and Salford.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people in care.

Promote independent living skills, including personal care, education, and social development.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans.

Ensure a safe and nurturing environment by following safeguarding policies and procedures.

Encourage positive behaviour management strategies and de-escalate challenging situations where necessary.

Work closely with a team of professionals, including social workers, teachers, and health practitioners.

Support children in daily routines, such as attending school, participating in recreational activities, and engaging in therapy sessions.

Administer medication and adhere to all health and safety protocols.

Previous experience working in a children's residential care setting is essential.

A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection regulations.

Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
