This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for publicly funded Family Law to head a team of five, focusing on client care and legal aid matters. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional client care in sensitive family law cases.
  • Lead and manage a team of five, providing guidance and oversight.
  • Handle legal aid applications, ensuring due diligence and compliance.
  • Prepare for court, including creating bundles and instructing counsel.
  • Conduct advocacy and manage cases to meet monthly targets.
  • Ensure files are compliant through monthly reviews and necessary adjustments.
Candidate Requirements
  • Children Panel Membership and Law Society registration.
  • Experience in legal aid applications, including using the CCMS portal.
  • Strong advocacy skills and ability to manage sensitive, high-pressure cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in case management systems and electronic file handling.
