Residential Childcare Skills Tutor

Up to ÂŁ32,000

Reed Further Education are recruiting Residential Childcare Skills Tutor in Manchester, to develop and deliver continually improved training to learners through the development of their knowledge, skills, behaviours & attitudes.

Day to Day of the role;

  • Work with a caseload of learners to facilitate their progression through qualifications
  • Regularly review learner progress and provide structured feedback, set and agree development objectives with learners

Requirements;

  • Assessors’ qualification
  • Minimum Level 3 Diploma Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience of teaching and learning quality standards, especially OFSTED.
  • Up-to-date understanding of L4 Children, Young People and Families Apprenticeship Standard, including End Point Assessment requirements.
  • Ability to create and conceptualise innovate and engaging learning materials.
  • Effective mentoring and coaching experience
  • Substantial occupational knowledge and competence of the Residential Childcare sector.
