Housing Enforcement Officer - Greater Manchester (Full-Time, 6 Months)

We are actively recruiting an experienced Housing Enforcement Officer on behalf of our client based in Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring housing standards are upheld in the Private Rented Sector, supporting tenants, and improving living conditions across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate reports of disrepair and health & safety issues in rental properties.
  • Administer and enforce Mandatory HMO Licensing and Selective Licensing.
  • Target rogue landlords and manage tenancy relations, including illegal evictions.
  • Conduct property inspections and take enforcement actions to protect tenants' rights.
  • Collaborate with landlords to ensure properties are safe, compliant, and in good condition.
