Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee electrical installations and works on a large residential project in Manchester. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, project management skills, and experience in managing electrical teams on residential projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Electrical project manager key responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, design, and installation of electrical systems in residential buildings.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders involved in the project.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Monitor project budgets, manage costs, and ensure the project remains financially viable.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and resolve issues.
• Prepare and review reports on project progress, risks, and budget status.
• Supervise and mentor electrical teams, providing guidance and support where needed.
• Manage procurement of materials and resources, ensuring timely availability.
• Resolve any on-site issues and mitigate risks to avoid delays.
• Liaise with clients to provide updates and ensure their expectations are met.

Electrical project manager requirements:

• Valid ECS card
• SMSTS
• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, ideally in the residential sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with managing electrical teams and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with construction schedules, site coordination, and resource management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent).
• Full driving license.
