Job Title: Engineering Project Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
Location: Manchester, Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

Are you an Engineering Project Manager looking to lead innovative projects? Join our client's forward-thinking team and take a pivotal role in driving technological advancements. This exciting opportunity will see you at the forefront of production process refinement and subcontractor integration, all while working with cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with product and subcontract managers to streamline production processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery that meets customer demands.
  • Subcontractor Relations: Serve as the main liaison with subcontractor manufacturers, managing relationships and improving processes or exploring new partner opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead an embedded team of electronics and software engineers to ensure product quality and alignment with customer needs.
  • Technical Specifications: Work closely with product managers to define specifications based on customer requests, feasibility, cost assessments, and technical limitations.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address product limitations, risks, and challenges, working with OEMs and partners to ensure flawless product functionality.
  • Quality Assurance: Supervise the accuracy of installations and ensure the highest standards for hardware and data integration.
  • Customer Support: Provide second-line support for complex installation issues, ensuring smooth and accurate installations.
  • Documentation & Training: Contribute to the development of technical manuals and training materials, ensuring up-to-date, clear installation guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in engineering operations or technical project management.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information.
  • Experience with embedded systems and electronics.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to emerging technologies.
