Due to significant expansion and growth across their integrated Project Controls team, our client in Manchester is looking for innovative, experienced Project Controls Engineers/ Planners to work across a portfolio of high-profile client initiatives in Manchester and the Northwest, supporting some of the biggest and most expensive Infrastructure/ Defence / Nuclear Programmes the UK has to offer. (They'll speak to you about which ones on a MS Teams chat).

You will also be responsible for implementing best practices within Controls, Planning, Analytics & Reporting, Risk, Change and Performance Management solutions on complex commissions.

Joining the established Project Controls team in Manchester, the Project Controls Engineer will be an integral part of their esteemed team, responsible for overseeing project controls activities for high-profile projects across aviation, highways, rail, nuclear, defence, energy, utilities sectors.

Your expertise in project management, planning, and controls will be utilised to ensure the successful delivery of complex client projects, they provide programme and project management, cost and commercial management, risk management and advisory services to a portfolio of prestigious clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project performance, identifying potential risks, and recommending proactive solutions.
  • Analyse project data to generate insightful reports, aiding decision-making and project optimization.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to achieve project milestones.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or recognised degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Controls Engineer, adept at utilizing industry-leading tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide valuable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
