Job Overview: I am partnering with a leading engineering firm to find a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Manchester. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be directly involved in the technical development and delivery of projects, working alongside a skilled team to drive success at every stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Development:
- Provide technical analysis and produce detailed information required at each project stage.
- Collaborate with project leaders to ensure all design elements are fully covered.
- Work closely with associates, directors, and the broader team to deliver optimal engineering solutions.
- Contribute to a lean design approach that ensures maximum value for clients.
- Project Delivery & Management:
- Play a key role in the technical delivery of projects, ensuring all objectives are met.
- Maintain strong relationships with both the internal team and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support project management tasks, including managing timelines, financial aspects, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure all project deliveries align with the company's Quality Assurance Policy.
- Commercial Focus:
- Assist with managing project performance and financials, ensuring efficient delivery and budget control.
- Customer Focus:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with design teams and clients, positioning the firm for future opportunities.
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to contribute to business growth.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in engineering project delivery and technical development.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance.
