Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a Site Engineer with experience in remediation or earthworks to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work independently across six sites located throughout the North West. The ideal individual will be capable of managing their workload with minimal supervision and have hands-on experience using GPS modelling and GPS kits for site measurements and layout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site engineering activities across multiple sites in the North West, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Work independently, demonstrating the ability to solve problems and make decisions with minimal oversight.
- Use GPS modelling and GPS equipment for accurate site measurements and construction layout.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee earthworks and remediation activities, ensuring quality and accuracy of the work.
- Liaise with site managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor site progress and resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, measurements, and progress.
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, with specific expertise in remediation or earthworks projects.
- Proficient in the use of GPS modelling and GPS kits for site layout and measurements.
- Strong understanding of site engineering techniques, methods, and procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site management.
- Experience in managing multiple sites and ensuring projects meet deadlines.
- A relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND or higher).
- A valid CSCS card.
- Full UK driving license.
