Water Treatment Manager
Northwest UK with UK travel when required
£55k p/a & vehicle & expenses, package & benefits.
Working hours are 40 hours p/w (Monday-Friday)
Our client are an established, successful and growing Engineering Specialist who have been trading for 30 years, they have engineered solutions for all business types, specialising in NHS, private healthcare, education, pharmaceuticals, retail, manufacturing, commercial and residential building sectors.
Due to continued growth and long term contract wins they require a Water Treatment Manager to join their team,
Key responsibilities of Water Treatment Manager:
- Managing 5-10 people at various locations across the Uk
- Quoting work from DWGs
- Producing Quotations to Clients
- Producing Risk Assessments for Sites
- Must have L8 Risk assessment accreditation
- Pre-commissioning cleaning (flushing, dosing, batch work, back-flushing) of Closed water heating and chilled systems to BG29/2021 - both new & existing
- Chlorination of domestic water systems.
- Surveys, sampling, documentation, preparation of method statements
- Temporary pump & filter setup
Requirements for the position:
- Good understanding of BSRIA guidelines and CIBSE codes.
- Ability to use own initiative
- Good eye for detail
- Adequate computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Flexible working approach
- CSCS Card
Team player with the ability to carry out clear instructions to continually raise the standards of processes within the team.
