The Role:
- Provide building maintenance advice
- Conduct building condition surveys
- Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and drawings for capital improvement projects
- Oversee contract administration, including drafting standard contract forms
- Manage annual capital programs of work across multiple sites
- Develop strong client relationships
Key Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
- BSc in Building Surveying or a similar qualification, or equivalent experience
- Practical understanding of commercial property
- Be a chartered Surveyor
- Experience within the education sector is a plus, but not essential
- Strategic problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- A proactive approach and ability to work independently
