The Role:

  • Provide building maintenance advice
  • Conduct building condition surveys
  • Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and drawings for capital improvement projects
  • Oversee contract administration, including drafting standard contract forms
  • Manage annual capital programs of work across multiple sites
  • Develop strong client relationships

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
  • BSc in Building Surveying or a similar qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Practical understanding of commercial property
  • Be a chartered Surveyor
  • Experience within the education sector is a plus, but not essential
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • A proactive approach and ability to work independently
