Junior DevOps Engineer - Central Manchester - Salary £40,000-50,000The Company:Lorien Global are working with one of the largest independent bookmakers in the UK. As the business continue their development we need a Junior DevOps Engineer to aid the Platform Team with the general day-to-day running of operations.The Role:Your responsibility will primarily be to operate as a shared service across the businesses various functions including Development, QA, and Data. Ensuring the uptime and reliability of the cloud infrastructure and business systems.My Client, recently migrated some of their applications into AWS and are planning to organise this for other businesses across the Group as such is a great opportunity for you to be involved with exciting projects.In this junior position we're looking for candidates who genuinely want to learn, with the continuous improvement aspects of the company infrastructure there's always opportunity forThe Skill Requirements:We're looking for candidates who understand some of the following:
- Understanding of Linux and/or Windows OS
- Understanding of cloud technologies from providers like AWS/Azure
- Understanding of how Infrastructure as Code works (Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible/Puppet/Salt/or similar)
- Aptitude for learning new skills
- Can work effectively in a team and as an individual
