Manchester Staff is looking for an experienced, flexible Business Development Manager for one of our leading clients in their sector. The successful candidate will ensure an exceptional client experience by managing and expanding relationships with current clients and key accounts. You’ll oversee multiple projects from start to finish, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, while providing aftersales care. After training, you’ll also generate new business by initiating client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service
  • Fostering strong relationships to drive repeat business, new sales, and maintain high service standards
  • Identifying growth opportunities with existing clients and aligning improvements with company objectives
  • Overseeing client accounts, including negotiating contracts and agreements
  • Managing client expectations and resolving any issues or challenge
  • Utilizing a CRM system to manage relationships, develop sales strategies, and track performance, while providing regular updates to senior management
  • Tracking key metrics and delivering results to senior leadership when required

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the luxury residential or yachting sectors preferred
  • Proven experience in managing client portfolios
  • Strong multitasking abilities with great attention to detail
  • Effective communication and influence skills, particularly with high-net-worth individuals
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience providing customer-centric solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence in both virtual and in-person interactions
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
