Position: CNC Programmer Operator
Location: Atherton. Lancashire
Salary: Days - 19.73 per hour, Afternoons - 24.65 per hour
Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a CNC Programmer Operator. Our client is a long established engineering company, manufacturing medium to heavy engineered components for the Mining, Oil & Gas and Power Generation industries.
The Role
The successful candidate must be apprentice trained /fully skilled and be able to program, set and operate medium to large capacity CNC Machining centres (traverse up to 13.5 metres and components up to 35 tonnes) using Fanuc Controls. Must be able to write new programs from technical drawings and edit existing programs. Should have knowledge of modern tooling and methods and be able to work with minimum supervision.
The successful candidate must be available to work either day or afternoon shifts.
Hours of Work
Day Shift (39 Hours)
Monday to Thursday 06:45am - 3:15pm
Friday 6:45am - 2:15pm
Afternoon Shift (36 Hours)
Monday to Thursday 3:00pm - 12:00am
Rates of pay
Day Shift 19.73 / Hour
Afternoon Shift 24.65 / Hour
