Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Building Surveyor in Manchester. The Senior Building Surveyor will be responsible for conducting surveys, inspections, and assessments of buildings, preparing reports, advising clients, and managing projects related to building construction and renovation predominantly within the commercial sector.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Professional certification as a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or similar accreditation or desire to work towards this
  • Extensive experience in building surveys, defect analysis, and project management
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and materials
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Proficient in relevant surveying software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and project management abilities
