Overview:

Our client is a well-established company that specialises in refurbishments, and new build projects nationwide. They are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Site Agent to join their team. The Site Agent will manage a variety of bar and restaurant projects. The role involves overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of construction sites, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standards and specifications.

Supervise and manage subcontractors, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Conduct daily site reports and site audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Handle project schedules and liaise with clients to provide updates on project progress.

Be client-facing and maintain professional relationships with end users, ensuring satisfaction with the work being completed.

Manage project budgets and track progress to ensure the project stays within financial targets.

Resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.

Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth communication and the timely completion of all projects.

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience refurbishments.

Must have a trade background in joinery and a preference for 2nd fix/finishing joiners.

CSCS Card, SMSTS or SSSTS, and First Aid certification.

Ability to manage subcontractors effectively and ensure they adhere to health and safety regulations.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with clients and manage site teams.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Experience managing projects valued between £250k - £2 million, with a typical project duration of 16-20 weeks.
