This is a highly exciting opportunity for a fire safety manager to join an industry leading fire engineering consultancy looking to expand their fire safety management division. The fire risk management consultant will be joining a fire safety consultancy that prioritise staff development & progression.

As a Fire Risk Management Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing and managing fire risks in commercial, residential, and industrial properties. You will provide expert advice, ensure compliance with fire safety legislation, and develop tailored fire safety strategies for our clients. Your role will include conducting fire risk assessments, delivering fire safety training, and offering guidance on fire safety best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed fire risk assessments in line with relevant regulations (e.g., Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005)
  • Develop and implement fire safety management plans, policies, and procedures for clients
  • Provide expert advice on fire safety systems, emergency planning, and building safety compliance
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities to ensure fire safety compliance
  • Deliver fire safety training sessions and workshops to client teams
  • Prepare comprehensive reports with clear recommendations for improving fire safety
  • Stay updated on current fire safety legislation and industry best practices

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Fire Risk Consultant or in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of fire safety legislation, risk assessment methodologies, and building codes
  • Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire, IFE membership, or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Full UK driving license
