- Develop and implement innovative Curriculum across our client's Functional Skills provision.
- Lead on quality assurance and improvement, to develop and encourage Tutor's to raise standards of their delivery.
- Work closely with the Quality Manager and Head of Apprenticeships to review and update internal policies and procedures, ensuring awarding organisation requirements are met.
- Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across Functional Skills through conducting face-to-face and online observations, evaluating the effectiveness of delivery, and adapt if needed.
- Produce monthly reports based on timely completion of Functional Skills elements; action plan completions and any development opportunities identified through observations and sampling.
- Must hold a minimum of a Level 3 in Maths and English.
- Must hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA, TAQA) or Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
- Ideally hold a recognised IQA qualification.
- Must hold strong expertise within Functional Skills Maths and English.
- Experience of Curriculum development/management, ensuring that quality systems and processes are in place to maximise learner outcomes.
- Experience of team management.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
