Training Coordinator

Overview of Role:

We are looking for a Training Coordinator to join a dynamic, growing business in the Energy industry. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing training needs across different functions, ensuring the business operates cutting-edge, value-driven services that meet the evolving needs of the customer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with extended teams and key stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of the business, and develop, deliver, and maintain the training strategy and processes.
  • Support the introduction of new services and Business as Usual (BAU) activities by identifying, creating, and delivering training aligned with the ADDIE training model.
  • Ensure all training is relevant, validated by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and fit for purpose by engaging with users for feedback and working with stakeholders to update training as necessary.
  • Lead communications related to training, attending regular meetings to identify and address training gaps, and proposing improvements to enhance the training functions capabilities.
  • Maintain detailed training records and produce reports to analyse the effectiveness of the training function, identifying opportunities for increased engagement.
  • Support line managers with the onboarding of new staff.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong training experience background including designing, and delivering training using the ADDIE model across various channels (In Person, Virtual, Recordings, Video, e-Learning).
  • Experience in creating, publishing, and reporting on e-Learning modules.
  • Experience with LMS systems, preferably within an ITIL environment.
  • Proven experience delivering IT training and producing user guides and how-to videos.
  • Qualification desirable in either AET/PTLLS or equivalent, or CIPD Learning and Development Level 3 or equivalent.

Location: Manchester or London (with travel between sites required)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
