Our client is an integrated marketing agency providing services across digital, creative, and PR. They work with a diverse range of B2C and B2B clients, from one-off activation projects to long-term strategic partnerships.

They are currently looking for a highly organized and communicative Digital Director who will report into the Client Services Director but take control of the digital arm of the team. This role offers the perfect opportunity to develop the team, and your skillset in a dynamic, energetic, and rewarding agency environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies aligned with clients’ business objectives, ensuring integration with broader marketing and communication plans.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all digital initiatives and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • New Business Development: Identify opportunities for business growth, including expanding digital services for existing clients and pitching digital solutions to potential new clients.
  • Team Management: Oversee the Digital Account Manager’s performance, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure they successfully manage client accounts and deliver high-quality work.
  • Freelancer Oversight: Manage and coordinate Digital Freelancers, ensuring they are briefed accurately, deadlines are met, and work aligns with agency standards.
  • Resource Allocation: Determine resource needs for digital projects, managing workload distribution across the team and freelancers to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Training and Development: Identify skill gaps and training opportunities within the digital team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns, ensuring they meet client objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all digital work produced by the team and freelancers is of the highest quality, aligns with client expectations, and adheres to industry standards.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while delivering high-quality work. Provide financial forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of digital campaigns, providing regular reports to clients and internal stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Integrated Campaign Coordination: Work closely with other departments (e.g., creative, PR, media) to ensure digital strategies are integrated into overall campaign plans and align with broader marketing objectives.
  • Collaboration with Creative and Development Teams: Liaise with creative and development teams to ensure digital content is on-brand, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
  • Client Presentations and Pitches: Lead the presentation of digital strategies and results to clients, clearly communicating the value and impact of digital initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of experience in an integrated or digital agency, including a strong track record of leading successful digital campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a team, including digital account managers and freelancers, with strong interpersonal skills and a talent for fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Expertise in developing and executing data-driven digital strategies that align with clients' business goals.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills
