The history of this firm is one of a unique fusion of tradition and progress, with a rich heritage in innovations made by the countless employees who built the company into what it is today. The role is what most up and coming marketers yearn for with ample room for growth and development, plus a varied role which adds value to your career.????
Their innovations have helped the visions of others become a reality, and their products, which are exported globally, have had a game-changing impact on industries around the globe. It’s also an industry untouched by market downturns and they are constantly striving for improvement and have expert technical and engineering teams that are focused on pushing further growth.
The role:
This is a broad, creative role which sits neatly within the marketing department and you will be responsible for contributing to campaign planning and delivery, through assisting with research, content and collateral design, events, CRM/email, digital channels, and campaign analysis. The real value of this role is that you’ll be surrounded by some knowledgeable & talented marketers who will guide and develop you, at every step of the way.
You’ll also look after their website and social media channels, ensuring regular and engaging content is curated as well as working with wider commercial and technical teams, to ensure all messaging and branding is aligned.
You’ll also help design both still and motion graphics for collateral, social media and and presentations using a range of software including Adobe Creative Suite, and collaborate with other teams, to generate content for collateral, the company website and social media. In addition you will help to organise and participate in events, such as conferences, seminars, and socials, and with external creative agencies & suppliers as required.
What we’re looking for:
Ideally, someone with around 12 - 18 months experience in a similar role, who enjoys getting stuck in and turning your hand to a breadth of marketing projects, from looking at stats and figures to running social campaigns, designing eye catching materials to events and working with creative agencies.
You’ll also know your way around CRM and website management systems, creative software, as well as eye for drafting engaging content, and it may be useful if you’ve been in a B2B environment, although it’s not paramount.
It may suit a marketing grad who’s had a placement or is looking for their second career move and has a good grasp of most marketing techniques and principles. It also needs someone that is happy running their own projects and doing their own thing - you’ll have the support of others, but the social element will be yours, so to speak. You'll have a genuine desire to learn from some of the best in the field, and build a career within a supporting and encouraging working environment.
What’s on offer?
A salary of up to £28,000 plus superb bonuses, company benefits and the chance to work for a company which is a true success story, packed with heritage. It’s hybrid, too, with 3 days in the office, and the rest from home. A culture which is driven by empowering its people to perform at the best of their abilities, plus an office space which is designed specifically for personal welfare and enjoyment.
In essence, this offers you the chance to work for a company that is constantly striving for improvement and have expert technical and engineering teams that are focused on driving growth & value.
