An exciting opportunity has arisen for a versatile and results-driven Billings/Credit Controller with a proven track record in data analysis and excel skills. This role offers a competitive salary of £28,000, based on experience, with the potential to earn monthly bonuses. The successful candidate will be based in the vibrant location of Didsbury, Manchester with 1 day working from home once trained.

What you'll do:

As a Billings/Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring accurate reconciliation and analysis. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders while demonstrating commercial awareness. Your role will involve working closely with the payroll and billing team to identify and resolve queries. You will also be expected to meet monthly collection targets and KPIs. This role requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is commercially aware, reliable, flexible, proactive, self-driven and has a strong desire to prove themselves.

  • Responsible for a portfolio of accounts; looking after all Self bill Portal client reconciliations
  • Analysis of any differences between what has been paid and billed, identifying the reason for any differences
  • Ensuring that the weekly billing of hours worked is submitted on time
  • Day to day cash collection / allocations and ledger maintenance
  • Demonstrate excellent relationship management and commercial awareness
  • Reporting directly to the Credit Control Manager
  • Reconciliation of client self-bill and Portals reports to the Company's internal records
  • Take ownership of queries and resolve in an efficient and timely manner
  • Achievement of monthly collection targets and KPI's
  • Managing a number of key accounts

What you bring:

  • Outstanding data analysis and data manipulation skills
  • Highly competent with Excel
  • Experience of the Recruitment or Healthcare sector (preferable but not essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong team work ethic and determination to complete their work to the best of their ability
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
