As the Credit Control Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team of credit controllers, ensuring the efficient and effective collection of outstanding payments. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee the credit control process, drive process improvements, and build strong relationships with clients to resolve payment issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of credit controllers to achieve collection targets
  • Monitor and manage aged debt, implementing strategies to reduce overdue payments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, resolving disputes and queries
  • Prepare reports and analysis on outstanding debts and cash flow forecasting
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and invoicing
  • Identify opportunities to improve credit control processes and procedures

Profile

The successful Credit Control Team Leader Requires:

  • Proven experience in a Credit Control role, with leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive and results-driven approach
