Client Details

Michael Page are working with a highly successful, industry leading business going through a period of continued growth. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their dynamic Finance team as a German speaking Credit Controller.

Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactive Credit Control
  • Ensure thorough saturation of the accounts receivable ledger to maximise collections and minimise overdue debt
  • Investigation and Resolution of Unapplied Cash
  • Investigate and resolve any instances of unapplied cash to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and reconciliations
  • Ensuring all accounts are accurately balanced and discrepancies are promptly addressed
  • Maintain and update the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all entries are current and accurate
  • Perform additional tasks as required by management or to meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Resolve any queries related to invoices to ensure timely payments

Profile

The candidate will have/be:

  • Fluent German speaker - Essential
  • Prior experience within a Finance setting - Essential
  • Demonstrate examples of continuous improvement - Essential
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
  • Existing knowledge of Accounting software & ERP systems - Desirable
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Essential
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships - Essential
