Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Manage and maintain the credit control system
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email, and letter
  • Resolve customer billing queries
  • Negotiate payment terms with customers
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of cash receipts
  • Monitor debtor balances and ensure timely collection of payments
  • Produce monthly debtor reports
  • liase with senior steakholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Education:

  • A relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit control

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of credit control principles and practises
  • Knowledge of legal requirements related to credit control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CICM qualification
  • Experience in handling high volume credit control

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based role 5 days 
  • 40 hours, Monday to Friday
