The CompanyAxon Moore is exclusively partnering with a PE backed, manufacturing business in West Manchester. Due to continued growth they require an experienced Credit individual with a strong emphasis around Credit Risk and ad hoc analysis.Salary – £35,000-£40,000Location – Trafford AreaHybrid – 4 days in 1 working from home.Responsibilities will include:
  • Demonstrate an organised approach to risk management using credit agency and credit insurance sources to monitor and maintain customer credit accounts within agreed limits.
  • Work with the credit insurance provider to review credit worthiness of new and existing customers and to report on overdue accounts.
  • Ensuring the successful collection of cash and reduction of aged debt, in line with business targets.
  • Using your initiative to resolve issues as they arise by coordinating with colleagues in the UK and overseas.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business to ensure coordination between sales, planning and finance.
  • Producing detailed and timely reports and analysis relating to short term cashflow, uninsured and overdue debt
  • Support the Head of Finance in daily transactional analysis including bank reconciliations and customer account maintenance.
  • Assist in the preparation of month end reports to a strict timetable and focus on streamlining processes including bad debt provision and ledger maintenance
Person Specification:
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

  • A strong teamwork ethic
  • Ability to influence customers using a calm and friendly approach.
