- Demonstrate an organised approach to risk management using credit agency and credit insurance sources to monitor and maintain customer credit accounts within agreed limits.
- Work with the credit insurance provider to review credit worthiness of new and existing customers and to report on overdue accounts.
- Ensuring the successful collection of cash and reduction of aged debt, in line with business targets.
- Using your initiative to resolve issues as they arise by coordinating with colleagues in the UK and overseas.
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business to ensure coordination between sales, planning and finance.
- Producing detailed and timely reports and analysis relating to short term cashflow, uninsured and overdue debt
- Support the Head of Finance in daily transactional analysis including bank reconciliations and customer account maintenance.
- Assist in the preparation of month end reports to a strict timetable and focus on streamlining processes including bad debt provision and ledger maintenance
