This temporary position offers an hourly rate of £14.15 and will start on 25th January 2025, ending on 31st March 2025.�? Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Ashton-under-Lyne train station and a 10-minute walk from Ashton-under-Lyne tram station, our client's office is easily accessible.?? As a Customer Service Navigator, you will provide invaluable advice, information, and support to residents. Your primary focus will be maximising income, reducing outgoings, and connecting residents with various services to enhance their long-term financial resilience.?? Respond to customer enquiries, assisting with applications for discretionary funds, grants, and a range of services such as council tax, housing benefit, and council tax support.?? Assess and process applications for discretionary funds, including schemes like Tameside Resettlement Scheme and Household Support Fund.?? Collaborate with a friendly and supportive Customer Services Team to ensure excellent service delivery.? To thrive in this role, you should possess:?? Previous experience dealing with complex enquiries in a customer service environment on various channels.?? A positive and responsive attitude towards customer inquiries, following agreed procedures.?? Proficiency in using IT applications, especially spreadsheets, with excellent keyboard and IT skills.?? The ability to converse comfortably with service users/customers, providing advice in accurate spoken English.�?
