Employment type: Permanent, full-time


Location: Stretford, Manchester


Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday


Salary: 25,000-25,500 p.a. + 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process and manage sales orders, ensuring all details are verified and communicated effectively.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of materials and components, and liaise with suppliers regarding order details, delivery timelines, and pricing.
  • Prepare and issue accurate customer quotes, collaborating with the sales and technical teams to align with customer and product requirements.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates on order progress, addressing enquiries, and resolving issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure availability of materials for orders, and coordinate with inventory teams for replenishment to avoid shortages.
  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth communication and documentation, and provide regular reports on sales performance, stock availability, and customer feedback.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations while performing daily tasks.

Experience/ Skills Required:
  • Previous experience in an Administration-type role, working within a sales team would be beneficial.
  • SAP experience would be favourable but not essential.
  • Brilliant communication and customer service skills.
  • Must have a confident telephone manner.
  • Must be able to commute to Trafford Park daily.
  • IT literate with knowledge of office software such as Word and Outlook.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.
