About The Team
The Web Engineering team develops and supports web frameworks, design systems, and consumer-facing platforms, enabling developers to create secure, user-friendly, high-performance applications with consistent branding and UX.
About The Role
The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focused on front-end architecture and development. You will work with the Web Development Marketing team, utilizing your full-stack expertise to deliver innovative UI solutions using modern web technologies. You should be self-driven and passionate about user experience, tackling challenges creatively.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the front-end architecture direction
- Design, develop, test, and document new features with cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and SEO
- Recommend tools and best practices to enhance stability and performance
- Participate in Agile development, including scoping, coding, testing, and maintenance
- Create and maintain templates and components for content management
- Design efficient content models and user workflows
- Advocate for operational excellence
- Collaborate with program managers, designers, and engineers to enhance UI features
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in web development and support for consumer-facing applications
- 3+ years with React and related frameworks
- Deep JavaScript expertise, including prototypical inheritance and closures
- Strong knowledge of web standards and technologies
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Node.js, React/Angular, Express, SASS/LESS, AWS, npm, Git, and CI
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
