About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established optical company in Manchester who are looking to add an Optical Assistant to their field-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for optical care and customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing support to customers, assisting with eye care solutions, and ensuring a smooth experience with the company’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality optical assistance in the field, visiting clients in their homes or workplaces.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, troubleshooting, and concerns regarding their eyewear, lenses, or prescriptions.
- Provide hands-on support with fitting and adjusting spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow up where necessary to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Represent the company’s values, offering knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable support at all times.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience is essential and a minimum of 1 year in Practice
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain optical products and solutions clearly and effectively.
- A full UK driving licence is essential, as this role involves traveling to customer sites.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly, empathetic, and professional approach.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage your own schedule and workload efficiently.
- A passion for helping customers with their optical needs and providing exceptional service.
