The Role:As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for the progress and attainment of a high-achieving Nursery class. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS National Curriculum, fostering creativity and a love for learning.

  • Understanding age-related expectations within EYFS, providing appropriate scaffolding and challenge to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

  • Keeping accurate records of children's progress, using data to identify areas for development and planning targeted interventions to support learning.

  • Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, based on trust and mutual respect.

  • Collaborating effectively with teaching assistants and other staff to share best practices, resources, and ideas for continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Proven experience in EYFS, ideally within a Nursery or Reception class.

  • Strong references to support previous teaching experience.

  • A comprehensive CV covering full employment history.

  • The right to work in the UK.

All candidates will be required to provide suitable references and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
