Tradewind is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary School in the Dukinfield area of Tameside. This long-term position is available for an immediate start.

About the Role:

  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Primary School in Dukinfield, Tameside
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Long-term

You will be supporting a child with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) in the Early Years. The child has SEND requirements, and the school is looking for an experienced candidate who can bring a compassionate and empathetic approach to the role. Ideally, you will hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have previous experience working with children with SEND.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
  • Commitment to supporting the child's educational and personal development
