At Sennen Education we are working with a friendly nursery within an excellent primary school. This setting is seeking a committed and creative Early Years Assistant who has experience working with children, the right candidate needs to be an outstanding childcare professional with a passion for working with children.

The school prides themselves on delivering a fun and balanced curriculum that develops the children's skills and confidence in preparation for the transition into Reception.

The ideal Teaching Assistant should:

  • Have good time management and know how to multitask
  • Be flexible and patient
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Be able to work full time
  • Undertake duties as directed by teaching staff or head of rooms.

To join us and be successful in this Learning Support Assistant role, you will need:

  • A minimum of six weeks experience of supporting young people which you can evidence with references.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one)
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Provide a CV with up to date employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
