EYFS Teaching Assistant (Chorlton)

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the early years of children's education? We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Chorlton.

This full-time position starts immediately and will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension based on your performance. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Supporting the EYFS teacher to deliver engaging, child-centred activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

Providing targeted assistance to children, including one-to-one support and small group interventions, to help them meet their developmental milestones.

Monitoring and recording children's progress, identifying areas for growth, and implementing strategies to support individual needs.

Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

Assisting with the preparation of resources and setting up stimulating learning areas that promote creativity and exploration.

Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure every child receives the best possible start to their education.

What We're Looking For:

A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

Ideally, a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification; however, Level 1 or 2 qualifications will be considered for candidates with relevant experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.

A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting the needs of a busy EYFS setting.
