Tradewind Manchester are supporting a one-form entry Trafford based primary school in recruiting a KS2 SEND Learning Support Assistant. This is a full-time role starting ASAP, then following an initial period working on a temporary basis, this role could become permanent, and you may be offered a school contract.

The school is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in KS2 who require small group support and 121 support. To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of supporting pupils who require special needs developmental support; have strong interpersonal skills; be able to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels and a clear understanding of SEND-based learning.

To join us and be successful in this SEND Learning Support Assistant role, you will need to:

  • Have experience in working with special needs developmental support, in particular ASC
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
