Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Temporary)
Location: Stalybridge, TamesideContract: Temporary, Full-Time (February Half Term 2025 - July 2025)Key Stages: KS1 & KS2
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team at a school in Stalybridge, Tameside. This is a temporary, full-time position commencing after the February half-term break and continuing until the end of the academic year in July 2025.
Role Overview:As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and development across Key Stages 1 and 2. Working closely with teachers, you will help deliver engaging lessons, provide one-on-one and group support, and assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support teaching and learning activities across KS1 and KS2.
- Assist with planning and delivering tailored interventions for individual and small groups of pupils.
- Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support classroom management and ensure lessons run smoothly.
- Provide feedback to teachers regarding pupil progress and areas for improvement.
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
- Confidence in supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a busy school environment.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
