We are delighted to partner with a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school for boys aged 11-16, where respect, belief, and achievement are at the heart of everything they do.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to make a meaningful difference by supporting students on their personal and academic journeys.

The Role:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, helping them engage positively in their learning.
- Assist in creating a safe, supportive environment where students can regulate their behaviour and thrive.
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development, encouraging personal growth.
- Build trust-based relationships through shared interests, such as sports, gaming, music, fitness, outdoor activities, horse riding, or sailing.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEMH needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to form meaningful, positive relationships with students.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
Experience, Training, and Qualifications:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) - desirable but not essential.
- GCSEs in English and Maths.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience working with children.
- Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (or a willingness to complete).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to process a new one).
- Two professional references, ideally related to working with children.
