About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our on-site SEND unit. You will be working with children who have a wide range of needs, including speech and language difficulties, behavioural challenges, and high support requirements. Your role will involve:

  • Supporting individual students or small groups with tailored learning plans
  • Assisting children with both academic work and emotional/behavioural development
  • Collaborating with teachers and SEND specialists to ensure each child reaches their full potential

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working in a specialist provision or SEND environment
  • A strong understanding of how to support children with a range of needs and behaviours
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour with patience and positivity
  • Knowledge of speech and language development is desirable
