We are currently seeking a teaching assistant to join our Primary Team. In this role, you will support the class teacher by assisting in the delivery of lessons, ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported in their learning. You will not be required to plan or lead lessons, but your role will be vital in helping maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Collaborating with the teacher to deliver creative and engaging lessons in alignment with the National Curriculum.
  • Providing targeted support to pupils, including small-group interventions and one-on-one assistance, to ensure individual progress.
  • Monitoring and recording pupil performance, helping to identify learning gaps, and assisting with strategies to bridge them.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assisting with the preparation of resources and activities, contributing to the school's creative curriculum.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support student well-being and academic achievement.
