Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Denton, M34. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time and long-term, starting after the Easter break and continuing until summer, with strong potential to extend into the new academic year. The school is eager to meet enthusiastic Teaching Assistant candidates as soon as possible.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:* This Teaching Assistant position will be based in the school's vibrant EYFS department, supporting pupils in Reception and Nursery.* The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging early years learning through play-based and structured activities.* The Teaching Assistant will support both whole-class activities and focused small-group or 1:1 interventions.* The Teaching Assistant will help pupils develop their communication, language, and early literacy and numeracy skills.* The Teaching Assistant will work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:* Have previous experience supporting children in the EYFS or Early Years setting.* Be nurturing, proactive, and committed to supporting children's early development.* Have knowledge of the EYFS Framework and a passion for early years education.* Be confident working one-to-one or in small groups, using creative strategies to keep pupils engaged.* Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (desirable but not essential).* Be a strong communicator and work well within a team-focused school.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:* A clear Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).* Two professional references covering the last three years.* Experience supporting children in an educational setting.* A strong commitment to making a positive impact in the classroom.
