We are very excited to announce our partnership with a design, engineering and project delivery company, specialising in complex infrastructure, process and built environment. They have an exciting opportunity for a Principle Ecologist to join and lead this function alongside the Environmental Lead. 

The Principle Ecologist will be responsible for:

• Business development (clients would include internal teams as well as external clients).
• Setting of processes, policies, procedures etc.
• Growing the team structure.
• Taking a lead function in setting up the wider Ecology team, managing different deliverables and being part of pioneering this teams success across the industry.

The Principle Ecologist will have:

• Experience in bio-diversity net gain.
• Experience of managing complex projects, including commercial, resourcing and scheduling activities along with managing sub-contracts and sub-contractors.
• Significant experience of delivering Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments, Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs) and Ecology Chapters for Environmental Statements.
