Purpose of the role

To develop, deliver, manage, monitor and evaluate marketing campaign activity, in support of the marketing strategy and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• To be accountable for developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned to commercial objectives on behalf of the Brand and Communications Manager, with input from key marketing and commercial stakeholders.

• Support the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and plans.

• To manage media buying to market our client's propositions and services, including reviewing current practice and making recommendations for development.

• To manage creative development for campaigns, including the management of agency partners where needed; ensure activity is approved by relevant stakeholders (including Compliance).

• To implement and monitor marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with client's objectives.

• To work with data analysts to measure the performance of campaign activities and make recommendations for future campaigns using key MI and data to measure outputs.

• To manage the development of branding, positioning, communications and other marketing artefacts.

• To undertake ad hoc projects and duties as and when required, to support the needs of the business or to achieve departmental objectives.

Critical skills required

• Ability to understand commercial objectives and market insight to create effective marketing campaigns.

• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills and able to proactively contribute ideas

• Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams and external partners

• Ability to understand analysis, marketing and trend data, extract meaningful insights and make recommendations.

Critical knowledge required

• Brand awareness and understanding of marketing principles

• Understanding of the financial services sector or regulated environments

• Understanding of marketing campaign processes, from concept development through to evaluation

• Understanding of media buying process and principles
