We are actively recruiting an Electrical Engineering Technician. This position is for a smaller company that is growing year on year. Lots of work in and around the greater Manchester area with some work across the UK.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineering Technician
- Possess a minimum of NVQ Level 2 qualification or its equivalent
- Demonstrate a successful track record of working with distribution transformers, switchgear, substation earthing systems, and battery tripping units in high-voltage applications.
- Prioritise safety in all aspects of work, with knowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
- Possess experience working on leading Switchgear and Transformer manufacturers HV Switchgear product ranges. These should include, but not limited to: Lucy Electric, Schneider Electric, Brush, Siemens, GE, HSS etc
- Experience in HV inspections and maintenance of DNO, IDNO and private distribution network substations and associated equipment
- Drivers licence
